So This is SAD

Seasonal Affective Disorder. And I've got it BAD. The kids and I are suffering from cabin fever to the point that Mayo Clinic may want to do a study on us. Even the cats seem exceptionally crabby.

We've had snow on top of more snow...on top of freezing rain...on top of cold temperatures and even more snow. I've thrown my back out out (sciatica??) and am to lay flat on my back with heavy duty pain meds and a steroid pack running through my veins. Unfortunately, there's work and kids and shopping and laundry and and and. So I'm just struggling along and my brain is just fried.

Dear TT'ers -- sorry I'm skipping this week. Just can't seem to fire up the synapses to write anything worth reading. As my fanny is pasted to the sofa though, I'll stop by and read yours!

Have a good week!! And please send some warmer weather our way!

I'm sorry to hear about the sciatica. I suffered from something similar last year and it truly is miserable. Fortunately, I was able to get it straightened out with some physical therapy. I hope you're feeling better soon--physically and emotionally.

I'm sorry you're under the weather (literally!). Sciatica, eh? I had a little taste of that before my hip replacements, and it wasn't fun. Ice packs helped me, but I'm sure by now you know the drill. :) Feel better soon!

Hugs, I hope both the sciatica and SAD are better ASAP and you're back on your feet!

I can relate, since I have it too. Spring is right around the corner. Really. :)

I'm sorry to hear about your health problems. One of ex-girlfriends suffered from SAD. I helped her pick out a light therapy lamp and that seemed to work for her. Take care of yourself.

Hi, stopped by to thank you for visiting and leaving a comment and input on my TT So sorry to hear about your back. My hubby is suffering from spinal stenosis and it's causing some sciatic pain, it's rough! I hope you feel better! Wish we could trade weather a little, I'll send you some of this balmy unseasonably warm stuff and you send me some snow :)

I hope you'll feel better soon! No need to say sorry. TT is supposed to be fun, not an obligation.
Thanks for visiting my Dalai Lama TT.
